Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Weather Safety Policy Overnight Pet & Home Care: No-shows without contact will incur a $9.99 fee, and a travel fee of up to $10 may apply if I’m more than 10 miles outside Wenatchee. Please cancel at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged a non-refundable fee equal to one night of care. I understand that plans can change, and I aim to be as flexible and fair as possible while also prioritizing the health and safety of your pets. Please review the following cancellation terms, as well as important safety protocols related to weather conditions. Weather Safety & Service Modifications Your pet’s safety is my top priority. In cases of extreme weather, services may be adjusted to protect your pet from dangerous conditions such as heatstroke, paw pad burns, or hypothermia. Hot Weather (Above 70–75°F) If temperatures are above 70–75°F, dog walking may be substituted with a check-in visit. During this visit, I’ll ensure your dog has: A potty break Fresh water Indoor enrichment or playtime in a shaded, safe area If temperatures are between 75–80°F, a brief 10-minute walk may be offered only if your dog has protective summer footwear and there is adequate shade along the walking route. Walks will not be conducted in areas with full direct sun exposure to avoid the risk of overheating or injury. Cold Weather / Winter Conditions If it is extremely cold or your pet does not have appropriate winter gear (such as paw protection or a jacket), the service will be converted to a check-in visit instead of a walk. This ensures your pet stays warm and safe while still receiving care, attention, and stimulation. Thank you for understanding that my number one priority is your pet's safety. If you have any questions about this policy or need to make changes to your booking, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help!
